Celebrant Fees
My fee is $500.00, however, I do have a sliding scale based on couples circumstances.
- Guidelines on writing your personal history.
- Guidelines on writing your marriage vows, and examples of marriage vows.
- Information on ceremony outline, protocols and traditions.
- Examples of ring vows.
- Ways to include your close family members.
- Different ideas such as ring warming, sand ceremony, the giving of roses, wood box ceremony and wine ceremony.
- Acknowledging loved ones who have travelled great distances to the ceremony; remembering loved ones who have passed on.
- Ceremonies or words that acknowledge your culture and customs.
- Ideas on involving children.
As much of time as you need to discuss your Ceremony. I am available by phone, mobile, email, skype or mail. We can meet at your home, my home, a cafe near your work or home.
Preparation of all documents prior, during and after the ceremony, these are:
a) Notice of Intention to Marry Form
b) Certificate of Marriage, (posted to Births, Deaths and Marriages after the Ceremony)
c) Statutory Declaration (which is on the back of the Certificate of Marriage)
d) A copy of your Ceremony Certificate
e) Celebrants copy of the Certificate of Marriage
- Lodgement of all the legal paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM)
- A rehearsal preferably at the venue, at the same time of day as your ceremony
- PA system with an in-built power supply, so all can hear your ceremony
- Table and 2 chairs for the formal signing of the certificates, with white covers
- Your Ceremony in a beautiful presentation folder
- Fees - Invoice and Statement/s
Please note that after the Wedding all couples are able to obtain their Official Registered Marriage Certificate from Births Deaths and Marriages (BDM) – they do charge a fee – currently $44.00. I have the forms available and will lodge them for you, so it is one thing less for you to worry about, you will need to provide a cheque made out to them, in order for me to do this. This is usually required for change of name purposes.
